GPS Devices

GPS Devices that can be supported by Connector include wireless routers, asset and personal trackers. At the most basic, these devices must be able to send location updates to Connector Server through UDP or TCP connection.

 

Connector Server can also receive pre-defined event messages such as those triggered by ‘panic button’ or IO ports. These message will be presented to Web Users as text messages.

 

A unique Device ID is used to identify the user. This is vendor-dependent and may be a serial number or the IMEI of the device. This may also be a configurable user name.
