Sierra Wireless
Connector currently supports the following GPS routers from Sierra Wireless AirLink™ product family:
To track a router, a Web User must add the router as a “contact” on Connector web site. The Device ID of the router is used to identify it.
The routers shall then be configured to send GPS location reports to the Connector server for them to be tracked.
Mandatory settings of the router are as follows:
| Parameters | Required Values | |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Report Server IP | tdgs1.8streams.com |
| 2 | Server Port | 3030 |
| 3 | Report Interval Time | 300 seconds or more |
| 4 | Vehicle Stationery Timer (Minutes) | 0 |
| 5 | GPS Report Type | NMEA GGA+VTG+RMC (or, E1) |
| 6 | Use Device ID in Location Reports | TRUE (or, 1) |

Note that Device ID is used to uniquely identify each router. It will be required when you add contact on Connector for the specific device.
The Device ID for a router can be found on the Status page if you login directly to the router:
Or, the Info page if you use AceManager:
